We are recruiting a Credit Control Administrator to join our team in Ashby de la Zouch. This role is perfect for someone wishing to expand their knowledge in administration within Credit Control. We recognise that people come from diverse backgrounds and skills and welcome all to apply.

You will report to the Credit Control Manager


You Will: 

  • Set up Customer Accounts, Billing Accounts and Location Accounts
  • Amend accounts – payment terms, name changes, address changes
  • Conduct credit checks
  • Cover for Vendor account set up
  • Cover for raising invoices on Customer Portals
  • Set and maintain credit limits following UK Credit Policy
  • Help with chasing of debts within agreed terms from initial phone calls/emails through to issuing legal proceedings – own set of customers to be given
  • Release of orders where credit limits have been exceeded or accounts have been placed "on stop" (following pre-determined guidelines)
  • Request credit limit increases
  • Weekly account reconciliations to minimise unallocated cash
  • Recording and resolution of sales invoice queries, working with the 10 service branches
  • Identify any missing payments, contacting customers and updating customers' accounts
  • Help run multiple Accounts Receivable reports and statement runs

You Have: 

  • A basic Business/Accounting knowledge
  • Build relationships with internal and external customers
  • Enjoy team work
  • Experience dealing with a high volume of customer accounts
  • Speak with customers on the telephone
  • Experience using SAP is preferable but not essential as full training will be provided
  • Good IT Skills in Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
