Konecranes Port Services is a team of crane and lifting engineers, software developers and product technicians located across the globe. We support all after-market services for all port equipment – from operational consulting, parts and maintenance programs to repair, servicing and training. We also partner customers in designing and re-designing, their operations with a range of retrofit packages, including automation, remote control, power saving, electrification and safety enhancements.


Port Services is now strengthening its presence in Israel and we are seeking to hire experienced Service Engineers. In this role you will belong to a team located in Ashdod and you will be involved in Port Service frontline activities meaning repair, maintenance, retrofitting, modernization and support for our Port Service customers.



Your main responsibilities will be to:
• Provide technical support and service, such as demanding repairs and maintenance, for a wide range of container handling equipment, as well as shipyard cranes
• Troubleshoot advanced controls/equipment
• Participate in customer consultation process and discussions about equipment operation
• Complete appropriate documentation
• When needed, participate in site acceptance testing and handover to the customer



What we expect from you
• Educational background in technical major, preferably in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Experience with lifting/container handling equipment
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• A good command of English
• Proven commitment to safety
• Ability to work at heights
