Business Development Manager / Branch Manager

Your objective will be made up of 3 key components:

  • increase sales and profitability growth,
  • lead our branch team
  • and achieve a high customer satisfaction.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

 

Business Development

  • Have a sound knowledge of industry and market opportunities
  • Participate in defining business development strategy
  • Actively engage in sales activities to meet orders and sales objectives
  • Responsible for maintaining and growing the customer base of the business
  • Responsible for stable growth of the contract base to meet/exceed targets
  • Oversee and conduct the maintenance agreement renewal process to ensure changing customer needs are met and opportunities are not lost

People Management

  • Increase branch management's effectiveness by recruiting, guiding, training, coaching service manager and branch team members
  • Drive a positive safety culture
  • Direct and assist service manager with the planning and scheduling of service work
  • Conduct performance reviews and action planning for further development
  • Ensure team members receive appropriate level of training
  • Ensure staffing levels of branch are appropriate for volume of business

Customer Satisfaction

  • Responsible for Key Account Management
  • Manage and direct branch service operations to meet the targets of five KPA’s (Safety, Customer, People, Growth, and Profitability)
  • Resolve customer complaints, within established guidelines, to ensure the satisfaction of the customer and in the best interest of the company
  • Ensure quality control program is administered in accordance with company policy
  • Ensure time tickets and expense reports are complete, accurate and approved according to company guidelines and that hours are allocated to the appropriate job
  • Follow all established safety rules and procedures, including those established by the customer

 

Other Responsibilities

  • Provide reports (e.g. monthly branch rush forecasting report, safety report, etc.)
  • Ensure proper procedures are followed and documentation is completed
  • Other duties assigned by line manager

 

 What you must have for us to succeed together:

  • Bachelors’ degree (business, economics degree is an advantage)
  • 4 years’ experience in industry related sales or business development
  • 2 years managerial experience, well-developed “people” skills
  • Fluent Hungarian and English skill both in spoken and written
