Konecranes Industrial Service & Equipment (ISE) provides industry-leading lifecycle services for industrial cranes and hoists, along with sustainable lifting solutions for various industrial applications. Our business relies heavily on providing top-notch service. Our technical support team offers global assistance to our internal frontline units and customers for intricate retrofits and modernizations that require technical expertise.
To bolster our technical support team, we are looking to hire additional Electrical Design Engineer to join our local team. As part of the electrical group, you will be responsible for designing electrical systems for lifting equipment and providing calculations for the selection of electrical components such as cables, wires, and contactors to support our local delivery projects. Additionally, you will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to choose the appropriate tools for electrical design modernization.
We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our service team in Budapest, Hungary.
Your key responsibilities:

Create, modify, and update electrical drawings using an electrical CAD system

Propose technical solutions related to electrical engineering and implement solutions in electrical design

Detailed electrical design (including electrical components selection, schematic design, and components layout design) related to delivery projects

In collaboration with sales and service technicians provide support to local electrical projects, participate in offer creation and occasionally conduct field visits to customer sites

Prepare handover design documentation
What should you bring?
-
Degree in electrical engineering
-
Recent graduate with some practical experience in delivering electrical designs, preferably in a similar industry (material handling solutions)

B category driving licence
-
Experience with electrical design, drawings and layout preparation in an Electrical CAD system
-
Experience with the Siemens Teamcenter PLM system is beneficial
-
Practical experience of 3+ years in a similar role
-
Knowledge of lifting equipment and technology and a background in the lifting or machinery industry are highly beneficial.

Familiar with Zuken E³ and EPLAN is advantageous
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with the various people involved in the project
-
Problem solver and able to shift your focus from a system level to also address broader technical challenges

Dedicated to continuous growth and open to utilizing new technology and methods in your approach.

Good command of written and spoken English and Hungarian
