Job Purpose:
Perform Service Review with customer within two business days of service request completion. Follow up and close operative quotes submitted from field service requests. Work with field operatives if assistance or additional information is needed. If customer is non-responsive during sales efforts or needs a site visit for further sales opportunities/efforts, the sales case should be turned over to service sales.

• Carrying out follow up calls after completion of our Service visits through a Service Review to go through open risks/recommendations and quotations to address them, to answer customer questions and to document our next steps

• Review the Service Technicians service reports

• Conducts Service Reviews online using our customer portal

• Maintains daily activities in customer relationship management tools by tracking calls, emails, and interactions with customers during the retention process.

• Facilitate the Operative Quoting process for leads brought in by the Field Operatives. Take appropriate action to ensure leads are quoted in a timely fashion or forward leads to other designated resources, for estimation and quotation, if required.

• Finalizing sales cases and generating the Service requests for Work to be carried out

• Qualifying opportunities to their respected areas

• Responsible for offering and sales of repairs, retrofits and spare parts

• Maintain customer record by updating account information, and responsible to support customers quotation 

• Works closely with local branches to improve customer agreement retention, overall customer relationships, scope of services delivered, and overall profitability and efficiency

• Receive the customers' feedback for products, close coordinate with relevant colleague to solve possible problem

• To be fully aware of and comply with current responsibilities and requirements of the relevant OHS Acts, mine health and safety act, Regulations and applicable Health and Safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe workplace.

• Report all hazards, incidents and injuries in accordance with legislation and company reporting procedures;

• Participate in programs and assessments to improve health and safety in the workplace

• Execute all functions in line with the applicable delegation of authority

• Perform other duties as assigned

 

Key Job Requirements: 
Qualification/Education:

• Grade 12 
• Post-matric qualification (NQF level 5) an advantage 

 

Skills & Knowledge:
• 2-3 years work experience in Sales, preferably in Technical Sales
• Knowledge and experience of customer service and customer communication preferred
• Knowledge of quoting process; pricing and margins 
• Must be able to travel locally and outside SA for operational requirements
• Proficiency with MS Office applications e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience working with CRM or similar tools

• Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards
