Job Summary

Promotes and sells the organization's products and services to develop new business and acquire new customers. 


Accountabilities and Responsibilities

1. Promotes and sells the organisation's products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or list of customer accounts to achieve sales targets. Utilises current CRM systems in the sales process efficiently, and reports on leads and sales activities regularly.
2. Pursues sales leads, visits existing and new customers, assesses customer needs and suggests appropriate products and services, respond to customer enquiries, negotiates prices and delivery times and concludes sales orders.
3. Identifies, researches, and contacts prospective customers and builds positive relationships generating future sales and repeat business. Refers sales leads, customers feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organisation. Identifies leads for other business units, promotes cross-selling activities and culture in the organisation.
4. Establishes annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and prioritises and schedules own activities ensuring targets are met. Develops sales plans with key clients.  



• Prefer a 5-year degree in Engineering and past work experience within Industrial sales or service related/Business Development.

• Must have a strong understanding of sales prospecting as well as basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.

• Good verbal, written and strong computer skills are required.

• Willing to travel and able to drive and possess valid driver’s license (preferably with own car).
