General Job description:
- Day-to-day tasks within the operational goals and standards area with direct and long-term impact on the field of Global Procurement
- Planning and coordination of operational purchasing related tasks, including problem solving by updating and modifying existing working methods and improve the quality of service and data.
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders / suppliers regarding operational purchasing detail maintenance and influencing the alignment.
- Ensuring alignment between contract and commercials
KPI:
- Deliver on agreed tasks, activities, projects with data quality, on time
- Timely maintenance of the details pertaining to PO expediting activities
- Ensuring PO management in line with contracts/agreements
- Ensure prompt support, visibility and quality of detail for various tasks, activities, projects along with reports.
- Reduced data quality errors and overall KPI compliance
- Continuous improvement projects – reduce time & cost to make decisions and improve efficiency, systematically.
Technical Competence:
- Strong working knowledge of SAP MM.
- Hands on experience in Purchase Requisition-Purchase Order-Goods Receipt creations, Exception invoice handling, with focus on Indirect category products & services.
- Supplier interactions will be an added advantage.
- Ability to understand commercial terms involved in Purchase Order in relation to the contracts/agreements
- Good knowledge on Purchasing Master Data and related data maintenance processes.
- Knowledge of process improvement such as Kaizen, Lean 6 Sigma and atomization.
- Good exposure to Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word, PPT, Power App, Teams and SharePoint.

Role and Responsibility:
- Procurement – purchasing support and related activities.
- Converting Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Order
- Purchase Order expediting (PR-PO-GR management) including support for the Purchasing process.
- Purchase Order confirmation follow-up & update.
- Delivery follow-up & update including supplier coordination for material delivery.
- PO execution, shipment tracking, reporting and issue resolution.
- Invoice mismatch issue resolution handling and exception identification.
- Understanding of stock position in the system, shortage follow-up and coordination for the same
- Communicating with suppliers on PO-Delivery-Invoice processes, as required
- Master data quality monitoring, coordination, reporting and initiate data clean-up as needed.
- Direct Communication Channel with all related teams
- Data collection, Reporting, Data flow monitoring relating to master data & purchasing processes.
- Optimizing the support and processes for purchasing
- Participate in global projects with global team and deliver results.
- Functional support for Global Procurement processes according to task assignments from Global Process Owners
- Ad hoc operational support to ensure efficient Procurement processes.
- Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards.
