Department:  Global Procurement – India Service Center

Education Required: Graduation/Post Graduation

Professional Experience Required (Max – Min.): 8~10 years

General Job description:

Day-to-day tasks within the operational goals and standards area with direct and long-term impact on the field travel management. Planning and coordination of travel change management including problem solving by updating and modifying existing working methods and improve the quality of master data. Communication with internal and external stakeholders / suppliers related to travel changes and influencing the alignment


Technical Competence:

  • E-Sourcing Tools, Ariba, SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Knowledge of RFP Process Management, Procurement master data and related processes
  • Knowledge of process improvement and automation is an advantage 
  • Any other ERP or related system knowledge is an advantage
  • Excellence knowledge of Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PPT, Power App, Teams and SharePoint as example)
  • PMP /GBTA GBTA Certified Travel Expert (CTE) preferred

Role and Responsibility:

  • Work closely with the Global Travel Manager to implement the Global Travel Program within the Different regions. On an on-going basis, implement with new entities.
  • Monitor and manage compliance to the Global Travel Policy. Provide strategies to increase compliance, including reporting to monitor Traveler ticketing behavior.
  • Oversight of the Travel Management Company (TMC) including all operational issues, SLA’s, management reporting systems, and adherence to policy within region
  • Develop, implement, and manage all Travel Supplier relationships and programs (agency, air, hotel, car rental, etc.) and other travel related services ensuring compliance to service level agreements.
  • Identify savings opportunities and service enhancements, initiate process improvements and deployment of benchmarking-generated best practices.
  • Benchmark, analyze, monitor, and report on travel expenditures and compliance.
  • Design and implement travel training/seminars for travelers and travel arrangers.
  • Manage internal & external stakeholder relationship.
  • Provide support to audit processes and quality management system as required.
  • Other projects as assigned by the Global Travel Manager.
