The business area of Industrial Doors within Konecranes is continuing to strengthen and due to recent organisational changes within our business, we are now recruiting a Service Supervisor to join our team. This role is essential to providing day to day supervisory operational field activities within the northern geographical area of the UK; this is great opportunity and time for a suitably qualified person to join our business to help develop our service proposition. At the very top of our agenda is safety, this is both the safety of our people but also our customers; through our diligence, we offer unrivalled customer satisfaction, delivering the best possible service. The role is ideally suited to those who enjoy a blend of supporting others through technical knowledge whilst continuing to be technically hands-on in the field.


Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing day to day supervisory duties field activities relating to technical issues
  • Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our customer’s industrial doors
  • Trouble-shooting equipment malfunctions
  • Consulting with customers on repair and safety related issues
  • Generating sales leads during service call
  • Completing appropriate documentation

What should you bring?

As this is a supervisory role, we are looking for candidates who are experienced within the industrial door or related industry, such as traffic gates/barriers. Essential to this role is being apprentice-trained or time-served with an electrical qualification such as an NVQ level 3 or equivalent; if you have experience of hydraulics - this would be a plus! Ability to work at height again is essential, as is holding a UK driver’s licence and being IT literate being in possession of all these attributes will bring together all the required components to have a very successful and enjoyable career with us!
