Be part in developing the future generation of heavy industrial trucks – welcome to the exciting industry of non-road mobile machinery. Industrial trucks contain a huge variety of technologies, such as powertrains, electric drives, electric energy storage, hydraulics, vehicle automation, HMI/GUI, machine control and digitalization. We work in a global environment, with own people in Italy, Sweden, France and China, as well as partners all over the world.

 

We are currently seeking a highly motivated ‘Control System Engineer – Embedded SW/FW R&D

 

Adopted solutions use the state of art of engineering, as model-based design approach, and the most advanced techniques for functional safety and simulation.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

 

·        Design, development and testing of application SW for machine control;

·        Integration of electronic system on board (components, communication layer, architecture);

·        Simulation and design with model-based approach.

 

Additional tasks:

·        SW/FW testing and validation;

·        Design and development of embedded SW/FW for Electronic Control Unit.

 

The development is done in model based design and C -language, according to safety rules.

What should you bring?

 

The ideal candidate will have good communication (written and oral) skills, problem solving and team working attitude.

 

Competencies in SW engineering, C-language, Embedded system, basic networking, control system are mandatory, as well as a good level of written and spoken English.

 

Basic knowledge in Linux operating system, Object oriented languages (Python, C++), CAN bus and GUI are considered as a plus.

 

Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years relevant work experience or a Master's degree w/o working experience in computer science or electronics is a minimum requirement.

 

As a person you are analytical, structured and goal-oriented, yet innovative and can find solutions in new ways while focusing on customer value and market needs. You must also be able to shift focus from system-level to high-level technical issues. You are keen to learn continuously and apply new technology and methods.

 

Short business trips abroad are required.
