One area of particular strong performance is Konecranes Industrial Door Services and due to increasing numbers of customers, we are recruiting an Industrial Door Engineer/Technician to join our field-based team in Scotland. This role would suit candidates living in either Glasgow, Edinburgh or Aberdeen.
The purpose of this role is to installation, service and maintain industrial doors and docking equipment within Scotland.
This role reports into the Operations Manager.
We are looking for candidates who have the following skills and attributes:
- Apprentice-trained/time-served/fitters mate route or equivalent (i.e., electrically NVQ level 3) in a maintenance or installation-related field
- Basic electrical knowledge – essential
- Knowledge and/or experience of hydraulics – preferred but not essential
- Experienced within the industrial door or related industry, such as traffic gates/barriers.
- Ability to work at height
- IT literate
- UK driver’s licence – essential
