We are looking for a Factory Manager, Hoist production of QABC, R and Belt hoists (HH1) to lead assembly in Hämeenlinna Component Factories.

Main products of the component factories are Q and R platform hoists, crane electrics, crane end trucks, belt hoists, air tronic balancers, hoisting gears and travelling machineries. Factory Manager is part of the Hämeenlinna CTO supply management team and works in close collaboration with material management, product platform, engineering, procurement, quality, safety and other supply chain functions. Factory manager reports to General Manager.

 

 Main responsibilities:

  • Leading a factory of about 60 people including supervisors, production engineers, planners and assembly operators
  • Managing and developing of every day production activities using the Konecranes Way lean principles including safety, quality and punctual delivery requirements
  • Continuous improvement of the factory processes in co-operation with other supply chain functions to ensure & create one common process following best practices
  • Communication and change management
  • Responsible for annual planning and investments.
  • Development of personnel training and continuous resource planning.
  • Development of personnel bonus schemes and employees contractual issues according to local and global guidelines.

  • Master / Bachelor level studies with at least 5 years' relevant experience
  • Active way of working to make needed decisions and to generate new initiatives
  • Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English language skills
