Field Supervisor

  • Trade qualified Electrical or Fitter, with a mechanical mindset
  • Base salary $95K plus OT and penalty rates

As a result of strong demand for our services, we are now seeking to appoint a Field Supervisor to join our team in Hobart. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will work closely with our technicians to provide our customer with outstanding support and service.

 

You'll enjoy the variety and sense of autonomy this role offers, as you:

  • Supervise field operatives including customer consultation, spot audits, quality control and safety.
  • Developing and maintaining professional customer relationships.
  • Liaising and be responsive to the needs of our client.
  • Assist the Service Manager in determining labor estimates, special tools, requirements or hazards on larger jobs.
  • Coordinate and Manage Projects.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs
  • Record faults, potential hazards and exceptions via our Risk & Recommendation method
  • Calculate estimated hours of labour and costs for repairs
  • Help our customers make informed purchasing decisions by providing your consultation and expertise
  • Perform Safety Review and Visit Reviews, and ensure that next steps are documented

 

What we expect from you:

  • Trade qualified Electrical or Fitter 
  • Previous experience in similar industry
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Must have a right to work in Australia

 

You will have all the tools at your disposal to perform the retrofits and preventative maintenance necessary to keep our cranes safe and customers happy.
