Konecranes Information Technology organization develops innovative IT services that help to transform data into knowledge. IT provides services to enable secure, reliable and productive operations around the clock. The service portfolio is wide ranging from IT services provided to enable Konecranes business processes all the way to the business intelligence and analytics identifying new business opportunities.

 

In Konecranes IT, Product Development & Supply Cluster, we are responsible for developing and delivering IT solutions supporting Material Delivery, Procurement and Product Development processes.

 

To strengthen our team, we are looking to hire an Architect, Product Lifecycle and Engineering who will take a key role in leading Product Tribe’s solution architecture work. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining architecture descriptions, development roadmaps, architecture principles, guidelines and constraints for solution development. You will analyse requirements and purify epics to features, also ensuring that non-functional and compliancy requirements are properly acknowledged.

 

As an architect you will work with a wide network of key stakeholders: process owners and other architects of IT organisation. You will co-operate closely with Tribe leads to drive the vision and architectural alignment within and across tribes. You will also support development team and tribe level practices, such as quarterly planning and demo meetings.

What should you bring?

For this role we are looking for a person who has a degree in Computer Science or equivalent as well as several years of related work experience, preferably in a similar role. You need to have a good understanding of Product development, Lifecycle of products and Engineering processes. You also need to have ability to manage broad area of contents. Key factor to your success is communicating the big picture while paying attention to details.

 

We also expect that you have an active and independent approach to work and capacity to work under pressure. You will enjoy in this role, if you are a dedicated team player who feels comfortable working in global projects and in virtual teams with diverse backgrounds. As this role is much about collaborating and influencing, you need to have good interpersonal skills and be fluent in English. Knowledge of Siemens PLM applications (Teamcenter) is considered as advantage. We also appreciate experience in project management and agile methodologies.
