We are looking for a Category Manager to join our Electrics Procurement Team. This diverse team comprises of professionals from various countries, provides great exposure to international supply chain management and electrics procurement across multiple business areas.

The location for this position is flexible within Europe, with a strong preference for locations with a Konecranes presence such as Finland, Estonia or Poland. The role is hybrid remote and involves about 20% business travel.
Your Key Responsibilities:
• Global category management for low voltage components (contactors, breakers, connectors), IoT hardware (Telecom devices), transformers, and other electronic components(Resistors, Filters, suppressors and stabilators).
• Creating and maintaining category strategies and action plans to achieve strategic targets and annual cost reduction goals.
• Identifying and mapping stakeholder requirements within the category to ensure alignment.
• Facilitating collaboration among category stakeholders and leading the Supplier Manager Network.
• Regularly updating stakeholders, including leadership, on the status and activities within categories.
• Supporting Engineering on NPD projects.
• Preparing and leading negotiations with suppliers, ensuring the establishment of effective Supplier Agreements.
• Acting as a supplier manager, maintaining strong relationships with selected suppliers.
• Driving supplier segmentation initiatives to consolidate and allocate spend towards capable and competitive suppliers.
What You Should Bring:
• At least 5 years of experience in a Sourcing manager/ Category Manager role within an international company.
• Expertise and experience in the electrical and electronics components supply chain, IoT hardware, transformers, filters, suppressors, and resistors.
• University degree in Engineering or Economics with related technical field experience.
• Willingness to travel

• Technical understanding of manufacturing industries.
• Proficiency in analysing and evaluating large datasets.

• Agility to work in a changing environment.
• Resilience and capability to manage pressure effectively.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
