Chief Engineer, Inverters /Technical Product Manager

Core Technology is a business-driven team of professionals, developing and supporting technology solutions for customers across all Business Areas. Our deliverables encompass Automation Architecture, Core Control Systems software, Human-Machine Interfaces, Embedded Electronics Solutions, Motor Controls, Inverter Technologies, as well as Sustainability, Reliability, and Connected Asset Intelligence. To strengthen our Core Technology Development organization, we are looking for a Technical Product Manager /  Chief Engineer, who will be leading our Corporate High Performance Inverter Platform. In this role you will be a member of the Inverter Development Team, which develops and maintains inverter hardware and software for material handling. 


The team is based in Finland, Hyvinkää and we expect you to visit the office potentially 2-3 days per week, but it goes without saying that hybrid worktype is a part of our modern ways of working. 


Your key responsibilities

As a Technical Product Manager / Chief Engineer you will maintain inverter families, applications, and requirements. You will be  responsible for quality KPIs and for gathering feedback from the Business units. You will work in cooperation with business stakeholders, vendors, procurement, supply operations, technical information and connected technologies departments.

What should you bring? 

•    M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in power electronics, control systems, automation engineering or or strong work experience within the inverter industry
•    Experience on technical product management of frequency converter/ power electronic/ industrial products
•    Experience on requirements management 
•    Experience on quality management 
•    Good knowledge on quality assurance methods 
•    Good written and spoken communication (English) skills. Other language skills, like German is a plus 
•    Proactive and collaborative attitude, good problem-solving skills
