Konecranes Information Technology organization develops innovative IT services that help to transform data into knowledge. IT provides services to enable secure, reliable and productive operations around the clock. The service portfolio is wide ranging from IT services provided to enable Konecranes business processes all the way to the business intelligence and analytics identifying new business opportunities.
 
We are looking for a Concept Owner, PLM to join our Product Lifecycle Management and Product Design IT services unit. Our unit is responsible for management and development of IT systems related to products, product development and engineering. As a Concept Owner, you will be part of scrum team, which is responsible for developing Konecranes’ global PLM/PDM systems. You will work closely with business stakeholders such as Process Owners to identify requirements and transform them into concepts. You will also work with developers to create and enhance IT system features to support business processes. In your daily work you will work with technologies such as Teamcenter. 
 
Your main responsibilities:
•    to concretize business and process requirements into information system specifications in the form of concepts
•    to ensure that the concept is implementable, maintainable, reusable and effectively uses existing Konecranes and industry standard components
•    to ensure effective integration with related concepts and overall process model
•    to contribute to process development by providing information on system possibilities and restrictions

 

What should you bring

To succeed in this role, you need have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent and 3+ years of applicable working experience.

 

We also expect you to have:
•    Good understanding of business processes, practices and procedures.
•    Knowledge about PLM systems especially Teamcenter knowledge is appreciated.
•    Analytical and systematic way of working provided with a service mindset is needed to succeed in this role. 
•    Good understanding of IT development and maintenance practices.
•    Good communication and language skills: good English, both spoken and written is required
•    Scrum / Agile way of working knowledge being an asset valued on this position
