In Konecranes IT, Corporate Functions Cluster, we are responsible for developing and delivering IT solutions that support finance, people and management processes.
 

We are now looking for a Chapter Lead to join our FICO Development team located in Hyvinkää, Finland. As our Manager, Chapter FICO Development you are responsible for leading FICO development team (Developers, Configuration Owners, Concept Owners): you engage, coach and supervise team members to ensure positive team spirit and high performance.


Your key responsibilities include:
•    Developing team members’ skills and competences
•    Acting as a line manager e.g. supporting engagement & career development of your direct reports and resolving conflicts
•    Managing resource pool and allocation to Agile teams, as well as needed support for 1KC implementation projects 
•    Participating in quarterly planning process, analysing resource needs of the tribes and planning actions for removal of identified impediments 
•    Leading supplier contracting and management, within the scope of your Chapter
•    Developing communication practices 
•    Contributing to the Way of Working practices and IT process development in Konecranes IT 
•    Managing budgeting and cost control as well as driving cost efficiency of the chapter in alignment with Cluster Head
•    Ensuring ethics and compliance in daily practises, culture and attitudes as well as fostering customer- and service-focused mindset in the team

 

In this role you will report to Tarja Julkunen, Director, IT Corporate Functions. This fixed-term position is a replacement for the period of our employee's leave of absence, until April 2022. We appreciate if you will be able to join us already in September.

 

What we expect from you?
For this position we are looking for a person who is familiar with agile frameworks and practices, knowledge of Scrum is highly beneficial. An ideal candidate also has a strong desire to act as an ambassador for agile development culture and act as a bridge builder between different stakeholders. You enjoy coaching and leading teams . We expect you to be highly motivated team player and have experience working in global projects and virtual, global teams with diverse backgrounds.

 

In addition, we expect you to have 
•    skills and drive to coach and lead teams
•    good understanding of Finance processes and SAP FICO modules
•    solid communication skills and fluency in English, both written and oral
•    good interpersonal and influencing skills, as well as cultural sensitivity
•    Drive and persistence in striving towards goals
•    Customer focus passion for continuous improvement of customer experience
•    proactive and independent approach to work, and capacity to work under pressure
