The Learning and Development Program Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the design, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive learning initiatives within the organization. This position involves overseeing the entire life cycle of learning and development programs, from conception and planning to execution and assessment. The Learning and Development Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that these programs align with organizational goals, enhance employee capabilities, and contribute to overall performance improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1.    Program Design and Planning
•    Collaborate with stakeholders to identify organizational learning needs and objectives.
•    Develop and design effective learning programs, considering various modalities such as workshops, 
        e-learning, on-the-job training, and mentorship.
•    Create detailed project plans outlining key milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.

 

2.    Implementation
•    Coordinate and facilitate the rollout of learning initiatives, ensuring seamless execution.
•    Collaborate with subject matter experts, trainers, and instructional designers to deliver high-quality 
         content.
•    Monitor program delivery, adjusting as necessary to optimize effectiveness.

 

3.    End to End Project Management


•    Utilize project management methodologies to oversee the entire project life cycle.
•    (Manage budgets, allocate resources, and track program progress against established goals.)
•    Proactively identify and address potential issues, ensuring the successful completion of learning 
         programs.

 

4.    Stakeholder Engagement
•    Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including department heads, HR, and 
         executives.
•    Communicate program objectives, progress, and outcomes to relevant parties.
•    Gather feedback and continuously assess the impact of learning programs on employee 
       development and organizational goals.

 

5.    Evaluation and Continuous Improvement
•    Establish and implement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives.
•    Analyze data and feedback to make data-driven decisions for program enhancement.
•    Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in learning and development strategies.

 

Requirements:

•    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; master's degree or certifications in Learning and Development or Project Management is a plus.
•    Proven experience in learning and development, with a focus on program management.
•    Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Familiarity with learning technologies and innovative learning methods.
•    Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at various organizational levels.
•    Strategic thinker with a keen understanding of organizational goals.
•    Results-oriented with a commitment to driving continuous improvement.
•    Adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
