Konecranes Information Technology organization develops innovative IT services that help to transform data into knowledge. IT provides services to enable secure, reliable and productive operations around the clock. The service portfolio is wide ranging from IT services provided to enable Konecranes business processes, through Helpdesk, all the way to the business intelligence and analytics identifying new business opportunities.
The Data to Knowledge (D2K) cluster within IT plays a key role in enabling Konecranes wide digital transformation through the next generation data platform, analytics, data science and, data governance solutions and platform capabilities.

To further strengthen our D2K organisation, we are seeking to hire a Solution Designer who is motivated to take a key role in managing system integrations for our on-premise & cloud applications. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing our Boomi integration platform and you will ensure that related IT solutions and services meet global and local business requirements and processes.

Your key responsibilities:
•    ownership of IT concepts in integration platform domain
•    translating business requirements into information system specifications/functionalities
•    maintaining product backlog roadmap
•    managing communication and dialogue with business stakeholders and internal customers
•    coordinating activities assigned to the development team and contributing to development initiatives
•    providing solutions and support for system development and implementation including quality assurance
•    solving production incidents in co-operation with support teams

What you should bring?
For this role, we are looking for a person who enjoys working in a rapidly changing environment and who has a talent for interacting with multiple teams across our global organization and facilitating discussions targeting at finding a common solution. To succeed, you must be a team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills and a motivation to work in an organisation with matrix reporting lines. It’s also crucial that you have IT background and previous experience with system integration concepts. We also expect that you are fluent in spoken and written English.
