Sales Manager

We are currently seeking candidate for a Manager (Standard Equipment - Sales) position in the Equipement Sales Function within our organization at Location – Indore , Madhya Pradesh . This role offers the opportunity to expand your knowledge of the sales and familiarize yourself with the business processes utilized at Konecranes.


Your key responsibilities:


  • Follow Safety standards as per company policy at all fronts and all times.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand market trends, competitors, and opportunities for growth.
  • Lead generation through proactive prospecting, networking, and client relationship management.
  • Expand market reach by identifying new opportunities and developing strategies to penetrate target markets.
  • Drive business development activities by understanding customer needs, proposing solutions, and closing deals.
  • Conduct technical discussions with clients to understand their requirements and offer appropriate product solutions.
  • Prepare comprehensive and competitive sales offers in collaboration with technical and commercial teams.
  • Lead negotiations with clients to secure profitable contracts while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Finalize orders and ensure smooth handover to project execution teams.
  • Utilize CRM tool for efficient sales management, tracking leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Goal setting for teammate aligned to annual plan, directing & correcting and performance evaluation.
  • Motivating, coaching, mentoring teammate enabling them to excel in their area and achieve growth.
  • Meet and exceed individual sales targets set by the company.
  • Identify development needs of reporting teammate and suggesting improvement plans.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact sales performance or business operations.
  • Gather feedback from customers to improve satisfaction and build strong, long-term relationships.
  • Provide cross-functional support to various teams, including projects, commercial, marketing, and service teams.
  • Collaborate with projects team to support project execution by providing technical inputs and ensuring customer requirements are met.
  • Assist commercial team in outstanding payment collection and resolving any payment-related issues.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to support marketing activities, including product launches, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Support the service team in after-sales activities, including customer support, warranty claims, and service contracts.
  • Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards

What should you bring?


Education Required: Degree in Industrial/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering + MBA/PGDBM.


Experience Required :  10+ years  of Sales experience in material handling equipments, capital equipments, Cranes etc industries.
