Service Planner

1. Manages and schedules the work of technicians in the field with solid technical knowledge.  Is in charge of staffing and resourcing, ensuring projects are completed within agreed time and budget constraints.
2. May visit customers to resolve customer disputes, on-site support to technicians. Ensures technicians work according to guidelines and specifications in a safe manner. Communicates with the customers for any field preparations. Develops own staff and their competencies in own area of responsibility. 
3. Prepares jobs and needed parts, equipment and material. Keeps accurate records regarding job progress, delays, problems, deliveries, changes, extras, engineering and fabrication.
4. Reports on the completed projects outlining the activities carried out, faults found during service and any future recommendations for improving the service offering. Provides feedback on the level of service, finds places of improvement.
