We are currently seeking candidate for a Head of Sales, Solutions Business, ISE position. This role offers the opportunity to expand your knowledge of the sales and familiarize yourself with the business processes utilized at Konecranes..
Your key responsibilities:
•Observes and prioritises Safety in every area of business within and outside the organisation
•Leads Industrial Cranes – Solutions segment business
•Develops clear understanding of the processes involved in target Industries and its’ bearing on design / construction of our equipment / solutions
•Maps industry segments for customer class layers & overall business potential, devise plans & strategy to increase market share, develops new markets
•Analyse business environment continuously and

- inform management/discuss - devise direction for future.
- re-align sales action for consistency/achieving results.
- advise product team on competition - product trends.
- advise product/marketing teams for creating push/re-positioning as may be needed.

•Collaborate with Product & Marcomm teams in product launch and promotional activities.
•Monitoring customer satisfaction through Voice of Customer process and take necessary measures.
•Implementation of sales campaigns, Assigned / Key Account Management.
•Managing the life cycle of sales starting with suspecting – prospecting & enquiry generation, coordination with offer support team, bid preparation, submission, technical and commercial discussions, negotiating, contracting, assisting in delivering, closure of contract and seamless introduction with service management team.
•Building and maintaining healthy funnel & achieving Order Entry targets
•Using Sales tools like Siebel CRM and Qlikview / PowerBI reporting for MIS discussions
•Focusses on customer retention and new customer acquisition
•Interfaces with project management, commercial & site installation functions for accomplishment of sales plan, effective liquidation of account Receivables and seamless handing over of equipment respectively.

What should you bring?
- Educational Requirement: Degree in Mechanical Engineering + MBA/PGDBM (optional)
- Professional Experience Required (Min - Max.): 14-18 years of selling experience preferably in similar industry or in any other material handling equipment industry.
- Systems Knowledge & Tools Usability (Can be imparted / trained):
- Siebel CRM Tool for Sales Management
- SAP Basics
- Qlikview / PowerBI Reporting
- Configurators (Markman)
- Contractual Instructions for Commercial Contracting
- Efecte (Offer Support Tool)
