The role of the Site Support and Development position is to aid in multiple aspects of site activities during the execution and warranty phases of a project. This includes troubleshooting and supporting complex, challenging or high-profile site activities; assist and mentor project managers with site related topics; and long-term development of the installation subcontractor network used for site activities. It is expected that you will use the resources available to bring a satisfactory resolution to customer problems, and participate in the long-term improvement of our customer experience.

This position will report to the Director of Projects and Customer Experience.

You Will:

  • Support Project Management, and other ICP team members, as an expert
  • Lead problem solving efforts and coordination of resolution activities of complex issues found at site during project execution or the warranty period of a project
  • Be a site supervisor to coordinate resources and provide a physical presence on site as needed
  • Support and further development of current installation subcontractors
  • Technical onboarding of new installation subcontractors
  • Participation in continuous improvement efforts
  • Help establish and implement standard operating procedures
  • Provide technical mentorship for the Project Management team members
  • Foster internal relationships with important partner groups and individuals

You Have:

  • 10 years of Overhead Crane or related industrial experience
  • Post secondary degree or relevant industry experience
  • Experience in Project Management or site management in an industrial or construction environment
  • Experience with overhead crane installation and commissioning; or related similar construction experience is required.
  • Have strong technical skills and a desire to understand our products and processes

As a member of the Project Management team, the Site Support and Development position can influence this experience by minimizing impacts in complex situations and supporting the long-term development of essential resources. You will be in an important position to support us in a way that allows Konecranes to provide an industry-leading customer experience.
