JOB POSITION: MANUFACTURING ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR
The Manufacturing Electrical Supervisor will lead his team in all aspects of crane manufacturing and testing. This position will lead the activities of our assemblers and subcontractors both inside and outside our facility. This position will work for the Director of Nuclear Manufacturing and in close coordination with production analyst, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance and project management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will lead team members and subcontract labor in building equipment.
- Will perform a variety of assembly operations including but not limited to layout, alignment, fit-up, conduit instillation and wiring a various of machinery and equipment.
- Will also assemble all types of electrical components.
- Review all assembly prints for manufacturability and provide feedback to engineering to assure continuous improvement.
- Monitor and sign off on all hours worked by the subcontract and trade groups to assure cost are controlled.
- Assist in creating the manufacturing timelines and list of activities required for each project.
- Complete all quality documents, recording all information required for the project and present to QA for review and approval.
- Determine resources required for the project by working with subcontractors, trade
groups, in house technicians, and engineering to obtain these resources.
- Work with production to schedule the deliveries of equipment to the proper facility or
subcontractor when needed to prevent any delays in the process.
- Receive in shipments of parts and components at our facilities or subcontractors to be used during the building of the project.
- Responsible for monitoring subcontractor activities to assure work is conducted in
accordance with project contracts and in a fair, safe and ethical manner.
- Assist with the setting up, starting up and performing of the Factory Acceptance Test of product.
- Assist with the break down and shipping of product.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Must be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics. Must have experience laying out and installing conduit. Must have strong trouble shooting experience. Must have good overall electrical aptitude. Knowledge of manufacturing processes as they relate to crane production is required. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills. Computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams is required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Must have 5+ years experience working in a manufacturing operation in a factory floor setting. Knowledge of manufacturing processes is required. Knowledge of crane manufacturing is a plus and is preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to travel in the local area to all our assembly location.
- 5% Travel possible.
