POSITION TITLE: SITE ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN - NUCLEAR

REPORTS TO: WAYNE MADDOX – CONSTUCTION MANAGER

BUSINESS UNIT: KONECRANE NUCLEAR EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES, LLC

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the Construction Group with the manufacturing of cranes in Manitowoc

WI. Continue the PM’s of the Seattle Cranes. Assist with completion and

commissioning of the Seattle cranes once needed.

• Maintain strong communication with the project team, Lead Site Superintendent,

Construction Manager, in accordance with established practices.

• Have the ability to write safety related documents and work plans

• Conduct training programs and modules as required

• Ability to research and procure materials and tools local to the project

• Maintain all company issued equipment, vehicle (if applicable) and assets in a

safe and proper working order. Operate tools, equipment and vehicles in a safe

and responsible manner. Notify supervisor of any deficiencies for resolution.

• Maintain uniforms in a clean and presentable manner.

• Follow all established safety rules and procedures, including those established

by the customer and have a strong commitment to safety

• Participate in safety meetings.

• Assist Engineering in commissioning as needed. Both in Manitowoc and Seattle.

• Provide electrical and mechanical Technical Support as needed.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have and maintain a good driving record, including a valid driver's license.

• Must be willing and able to work at elevations

• Must be able to work varied overtime

• Must be team oriented, solutions driven, customer focused and a self-starter with

the ability to work with minimal supervision

• Previous project management background is a plus

• Able to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics and BOM’s.

• Strong electrical aptitude is a plus

• Proficiency with MS Office programs

• Read, understand and apply the contents of all OSHA, ANSI, CMAA and other

codes or regulations pertaining to our industry. Refresh and update knowledge

periodically.

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required. An Associate's degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or related field or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience is a plus.

EXPERIENCE: 10+ years’ experience in overhead material handling equipment is a plus
