Job description    

 

Are you interested in working within the core of Lifting Businesses and Digitalization? Konecranes’ vision is to know in real time how millions of lifting devices and machine tools perform and to use this knowledge around the clock to make our customers’ operations safer and more productive.

We are looking for a Global IT Support Manager in the Konecranes IT Support Team with strong relevant experience of 7-10 years with an engineer from any stream.

 

Your responsibilities are:

 

  • Manage the team and assist them with day to day tasks in order to make one team one dream
  • Manage employee relations, recruitment, attrition, conflict resolution and interpretation.
  • Define clear roles and responsibilities within the team. Eg; RACI matrix.
  • Identify Training needs and deploy training on required skill enhancement
  • Take ownership of the incident management processes and enable strong cooperation between ITSC managers and global teams to provide seamless support to customer. Example P1-P2 communication
  • SPOC for escalated issues related to incidents within the IT Helpdesk.
  • Accountable for the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives relating to operational activity by proactive attitude. Eg: Problem management, inititative ideas.
  • Follow up within the team and take actions to ensure that bar of Metrics is kept higher (SLA, Quality) 

 

Desired Functional Skills:

  • Knowledge about ITIL and ITSM tool(s)
  • IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations certification. Intermediate ITIL v3 certification covering change, release and deployment management a plus
  • Analytical and problem-solving techniques

 

General skills / requirements

 

  • Should have good communication (verbal, written) and presentation skill.
  • Excellent customer service-oriented attitude.
  • Should have excellent inter-personnel skills with a proven ability to work independently and in team environment as per situation
