Who we are?
The Product Lifecycle Process teams holds several roles and responsibilities in global process development,1KC PLM implementations and drives PLM system developments to serve our 1KC way of working, in particular to

  • Define end-to-end processes from product engineering, product modeling, product configuration, production engineering and product lifecycle viewpoint considering consistent data flow, efficiency, quality and simplicity
  • define system requirements needed to support the defined processes, create concepts thereof and initiate system developments
  • support implementation projects to take the defined processes and systems in our daily business operations.


We are a cross-cultural team part of the Konecranes business area Industrial Equipment with team members located in Finland, Germany, USA and India working in a global, corporate-wide context. Our team works in close cooperation with all Industrial Equipment business units, with the business area Industrial Service as well as IT and supply.

 

Primary responsibilities in this position are: 

  • Participate & Support in 1KC SAP implementations
  • Communicate and train the 1KC processes
  • Ensure that we get the planned business benefits in 1KC
  • Collect and review business needs and convert them to 1KC processes and IT requirements
  • Create and maintain training materials and train 1KC processes and systems
  • Train PLM Engineering tools which are needed in Design and Engineering.
  • Communicate actively with other process teams and stakeholders
  • Support Product Processes related roadmaps in coordination with GPO.
  • Process Owner reports to GPO – Product Engineering Electrical.

 

What we expect from you:

  • Experience in PLM, SAP, Implementation, Business Process Study, Business Mapping, Trainings etc.
  • Good knowledge of the Order, Offer and Product Development Process
  • Good Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management, Design& Engineering and Product Configuration
  • Strong understanding of PLM side
  • Scrum/Agile way of working knowledge
  • A desire to improve processes and capability to invent new best practices
  • Self-guided and motivated person
  • Co-operation with IT and business in development projects can be a benefit
  • Fluent English is mandatory, other languages can be a benefit
  • Previous role as, Concept Owner, local or global process owner can be a benefit
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Previous experience using Teamcenter and SAP as well as CAD systems (e.g., E3 CAD, AutoCAD, Vertex), Power Bi, Microsoft tools are an advantage
  • B.E. or M.E.in engineering
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards
