Project Manager/Project Lead

General Job Description:

Leading a small team to deliver global projects with considerable change management skills, with strong communication and influencing skills to align expectations with global stakeholders/external suppliers  in a matrix environment resulting in strategic/tactical impact to the overall implementation of global projects.


  1. System implementation with co-operation of Global process owners according to Procurement roadmap schedules
  2. Transition and implementation project success

Technical Competence:

  • Highly proficient user of MS office products, (PowerBI/QlickView/PowerPivot)
  • SAP MM and MDM key user knowledge. Additional modules on SD or FICO will be an advantage
  • Excellent numerical accuracy and agility
  • Knowledge of SAP environments and extraction of data
  • Ability to prepare and deliver training materials
  • Makes logical leaps as well as incremental steps
  • More than 10 full rollout and implementation projects of Ariba, SAP or similar Procurement related softwares
  • Capability to handle multiple projects at the same time and manage resources in matrix organization

Functional & Behavioral Skills:

  • Experience in running global projects as global project, transition or implementation manager
  • Experience in handling global stakeholders and running global projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business
  • Problem solvers, who are flexible and creative in finding solutions
  • Expert knowledge on supply chain management, S2P processes, category management & eProcurement processes
  • Very strong communication with influencing and networking skills
  • Self-starters, Self-motivated and can work independently, with minimal direction/ independently alone or as part of a small team
  • Flexible, collaborative approach is mandatory
  • Positive attitude with quality mindset
  • Makes logical leaps as well as incremental steps
  • Ability to quickly learn and taking initiatives

Role and Responsibility:

  • PMO Project management office for Procurement implementation project
  • Communication and training of related projects
  • Project planning in co-operation with Procurement Process owners and Back office
  • Managing various types of projects including process development and system implementation
