We are looking for Senior Consultant (Release Management & Quality Assurance, PLM & DT)

The Senior Consultant (Release Management & Quality Assurance, PLM & DT) will be responsible for the successful completion of all the release management related activities. This includes the planning, preparation, implementation, and post implementation support.  Position will not be responsible for implementing the developments and changes themselves but must ensure that each activity is completed to plan.  Therefore, the Person will rely on a number of individuals to execute the details and report back the status.

Your key responsibilities:

• Coordinate with other application QA team members and development teams.
• Quality Assurance management needs to check and control the overall quality of application.
• Have good understanding of overall test management.
• Manage/Coordinate with the release test management including test automation team.
• Working with the team assuring the product quality.
• Quality assurance team get involves in the implementations, pre and post Go live to check the over implementation quality and testing activities.
• Prepare the overall Quality reports for the application testing.
• Planning and coordination of all changes for the monthly release.
• Define, maintain, and communicate the detailed plan for each release.
• Reviewing the release validation artifacts (test results and sign-off, impact assessment of the release, back out/mitigation planning).
• Liaise with technical team for organizing system preparations, readiness for transport releases and Production Go Live activities for all requirements.
• Define and follow up Performance and Quality metrics for release management.

What should you bring?  

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher - B.Tech. /B.E., computer science.
• Good technical background with professional experience in Quality domain is desirable.
• Work experience: 5 - 8 years in Quality & Test management.
• Has working experience in Testing with automation exposure.
• Experience in developing test suites using standard test tools.
• You have an agile mindset and experience in agile working is an added advantage.
• Experience in Release Management is an added advantage
• You have experience with different phases of testing like smoke, regression, system and e2e testing.
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, bitbucket, etc.) are an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Teamcenter application and CAD (NX, AutoCAD, etc.) tool is an added advantage.
• Good understanding about end-to-end business processes and how these are built up in our IT Landscape.
• Effective communication skills and fluency in English.
• Experience in client & vendor handling.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with a globally distributed team.
• Nice to have awareness about ISO 14001, 45001 requirements.
