Transition Manager

General Job Description:

 

As a Transition Lead, Global Procurement Service Center, you would be part of a passionate organisation of global  environment characterised by drive, engagement, quality service and can do attitude.  You will define and implement transition methodologies, identify and conceptualize continuous improvement areas and improve the quality of delivery by adopting quality techniques and drive the quality culture and mind set in the organisation. Should be able to communicate to global stakeholders and external suppliers and influence alignment.You will report to the Head of the India Center

 

Education and experience

  • Master/Bachelor degree
  • 10-12 years handled hands on transition in global environment
  • Atleast handled 5-6 transitions .
  • Have the ability to  take initiative and drive transition of processes
  • Implemented quality techniques in a service organisation. Lean six sigma competences
  • Project Planning Tools - MS Project, Think Cell, Visio and PowerPivot
  • Project management experience/worked in a PMO
  • SAP super user in MM/Hyperion . Knowledge of other procurement tools like Alfresco, Pactum, SAP FIORI, Sievo  would be an added advantage

  • Be able to plan and prioritize tasks
  • Be  a self-motivator with a “can-do” attitude
  • An excellent communication skills with strong presentation skills
  • Proactive approach to tasks
  • Self-driven  and ability to work independently and a team player
    Main responsibilities
  • Transition of tasks from global organization to the Center
  • On boarding, work shadowing
  • Drive continuous improvement in the center using lean six sigma techniques
  • Preparation of MIS/KPI presentations highlighting capabilities of the center
  • Driving SOP/SLA deliveries
  • Supporting project management on tasks designated.
  • Assisting the Centerhead in Coordination with global stakeholders on performance review/new task transitions
  • Develop the infrastructure of the Center eg: Performance management, stakeholder satisfaction, workflows
