Konecranes, a world leading group of Lifting Businesses™, is looking to add an Industrial Cranes Sales Consultant to our external sales team. As a main point of contact for prospective and existing customers, you play an important role in solving their lifting needs through the sale of new Overhead Cranes. As a Sales Consultant, you will discuss with the customer their current situation and lead them through the sales process to offer a Konecranes solution that fits their needs.

This position will be based out of Calgary Alberta and report to the Director of Sales for Western Canada.

 

You Will:

  • Drive sales growth in your designated geographic area
  • Perform joint or independent sales calls to customers throughout all stages of the sales process
  • Use corporate quoting tools and resources to prepare quotations and proposals
  • Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to manage your sales funnel
  • Detail site installation requirements and assist in field measurement verification when needed
  • Complete order entry document package for offers that turn into orders, which details the scope of the project to the operations team
  • Participate in the development of sales, marketing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Be able to travel to any customer sites and locations

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or related practical experience
  • 3+ years of sales experience in an Industrial Environment
  • Previous experience with a CRM system

Then, working closely with the operations team while kicking off a new project will make sure they have everything they need to continue providing an industry-leading experience to our customers.
