QA Analyst

Konecranes-ECSS has a continuously growing branch in Satu Mare (Romania).

This branch is primarily responsible for creating large-scale logistics models and software for operating automated container terminals around the world.

We are looking for talented QA Analyst to reinforce our team here in Satu Mare (Romania).

 

The QA role we are looking to fulfill gives the opportunity to grow and gain experience in software testing processes and to get a closer look at the entire product life-cycle. You will be part of a scrum team (using SAFe framework) and you will participate in several projects and be in regular contact with other participants in the projects (developers, architects, business analysts  and end users).

 

Your responsibility  will be to  test the TEAMS product: software that supports state of the art container terminals worldwide.

Building a fully automated terminal takes several years and involves several parties working towards the same goal.

As a QA Analyst you plan your activities, depending on the phase the project is in.

From specifications you will set up and execute test cases, manual, using tools or via our inhouse test framework.

 

Together with your team, and other teams, you are responsible for the delivery of high quality software.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing software that operates automated container terminals and ensure that it  meets the highest quality standards.
  • Use of bug reporting and task management systems.
  • Works independently within an established framework, clear guidelines, user stories and tech requirements.
  • Works mainly within his/her own scrum team, but there is potential for interacting with customers.
  • Gather broad knowledge of the TEAMS-product, make use of basic domain knowledge of our industry for the context of the use of the product and the impact of bugs and changes.
  • Knowing and applying  of agile values and principles within SAFe framework.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Academic degree (not mandatory in Computer Science).
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Critical, assertive and independent attitude.
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with several tools or technologies like: Jira, Confluence, Linux, Java, Databases (SQL and/or Oracle), GitLab is a plus.
