POSITION TITLE: Business Controller
Position can be Springfield OH, Or New Berlin, WI
REPORTS TO: USA and Canada Crane Service Controller

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Have an active role in country area management team to ensure finance related issues are being considered in local decision making. Serve as a key finance partner to business leaders and support local decision making with analysis and reporting.
- Responsible for accurate and timely management accounting and operative reporting within the group’s framework.
- Prepare and analyze reports of customer, project, product, and agreement profitability.
- Provide Management with information and recommendations relative to the financial transactions, operational cost, inventories, sales, orders, taxes, depreciation, property, and other asset values, etc.
- Support the preparation of operating budgets and forecasts. Prepare statements of recommendations relative to future financial plans, forecasts, objectives, internal controls, policies, and goals.
- Evaluate and implement such approved programs deemed adequate to achieve cost reduction, improve controls, work simplification and best equipment utilization.
- Recognize implications and relationships among problems and issues and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Ensure that the company’s employees at all levels are aware of the Group’s policies, instructions, and guidelines in financial, legal and IT matters.
- Conduct local audits of Service locations and report findings and recommendations to the management.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
EDUCATION: Requires a degree in Accounting/Business Administration. CPA Designation an asset.
EXPERIENCE: Eight (8) or more years progressive experience in preparatory accounting, financial analysis, and/or Controller positions in a Service environment are required. SAP, Siebel or large ERP system strongly preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Expected Travel 10-15%
