JOB POSITION - Festoon Materials Team Lead

Job description and responsibilities:

· Responsibilities

o Hold toolbox talks every day. Talk the pulse boards

o Participate and talk during gemba walks

o Ensure training is being conducted and recorded

o Do the hour to hour boards and note deviations when goal is not met. Track and record the quality issues for the hour to hour board and feedback the issues to the responsible employee

o Do the charting of the graphs on the pulse board

o Talk the project board and encourage team to come up with ideas

o Send emails when issues arise to get support and keep everyone in the loop in a timely manner

o Track and order line stock items

o Encourage safety observations

o Monitor work and ensure everyone is staying on task and completing work in allotted time

o Ensure the team follows work instructions and quality guidelines

o Ensure team uses own ID in SAP and Fiori for work confirmations

o Follow and do 5S audits. Participate in 5S

o Understand all positions in area. Be willing to fill in for absent team members and/or float around as needed to keep the line flowing.

o Champion improvement projects as they arise. Lead and delegate actions

o Reduce customer claims and materials picking errors

o Ensure locations are accurate, fixed bins and buffers are restocked, fix negative buffers, transfer orders confirmed, skids on racks are wrapped or have rings, etc.

o Ensure orders are printed and meet basic finish date. Keep production flowing at all times.

o Ensure team productivity is at and above 85 parts per hour

o Ensure team RFT is at or above 95%

o Ensure team OPR is at or above 95%
