Position Title:   Financial Controller

Reports to:   Country Controller

Holidays: 10 paid holidays per year

 

 Purpose of the role:

  • To manage financial accounting of the Statutory company (GL and Closings)
  • Manage or assist in related tax filings and issues
  • Other local statutory requirements

 Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assuring that the company, in all of its financial transactions, follows applicable laws and regulations.
  • Adherence to Corporate defined monthly, quarterly and annual closing schedules and deadlines.
  • Overall GL responsibility including up-to-date analysis and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Acting as contact point to the Financial Shared Service Center and monitors the quality of the data.
  • Maintaining good co-operation with local auditors and the Group's auditing team.
  • Preparing statutory accounts and closings based on the Group's accounting framework as well as the local bookkeeping principles.
  • Preparing mandatory reports and declarations to authorities (central bank, statistical center, Government etc).
  • Assist Treasurer as required with cash management and reporting.
  • Assure appropriate internal controls are in place to prevent fraud against the company's cash and assets.

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field of study.
  • 7+ years experience in financial management tasks.
  • SAP experience preferred..
  • CPA or advanced degree is preferred.

Travel Required:   10%
