The Production Manager will lead and develop a team of Production Supervisors, Team Leads and Mechanical and Electrical Assemblers. With safety as the priority, motivating the team, ensuring quality performance and improving cost efficiency and on-time-delivery KPIs. Leading lean projects and focusing on continuous improvement across departments within the Factory.



  • Demonstrate and uphold Safety values, contributing to behavior-based safety initiatives and ensuring team compliance with all Safety policies and procedures. 
  • Direct workforce to meet on-time performance goals, quality requirements, productivity objectives and overtime efficiencies.
  • Managing resources and planning for necessary adjustments based on the production schedule
  • Plan work, delegate and prioritize for daily and weekly deadlines
  • Track operational output measures (i.e. efficiency, yield loss, product quality, inventory accuracy, transactional accuracy), anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise achievement of financial targets
  • Develop team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
  • Deliver effective change leadership to drive business changes while minimizing people impact
  • Drive lean manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issues
  • Collaborate with global Supply team to develop best practices and deploy new projects
  • Motivate team members to achieve plan goals
  • Builds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly and salaried personnel
  • Coordinate with Purchasing all shortages and delivery of parts and supplies.
  • Participate in company programs such as work simplification, cost reduction, job training, job evaluation, wage administration, communications, housekeeping, safety, etc.
  • Maintain conformance with work rules, counsel employees and administer disciplinary measures when necessary.


EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field


EXPERIENCE: Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project. Must possess strong skills, knowledge and capability in lean manufacturing, finance and accounting, project management, leadership, and statistics/logical problem solving. Solid working knowledge of HSE/quality regulatory compliance, purchasing, production planning, operations. Must have excellent communication, facilitation and influence skills.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum 7 years’ experience in manufacturing environment. Experience developing/coaching hourly and supervisory staff. Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications. Ability to give and receive constructive feedback. Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision making. Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others. Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills.
