Principal Responsibilites:

  • Accept work packages and perform planned and on-call repairs.
  • Work independently on repair, field modernizations and smaller installation jobs on standard equipment.
  • Participate in after hour call-out roster following branch requirements.
  • Offer standard repair and field modernization solutions to customers.
  • Generate leads and provide field quotations.
  • Attend emergency breakdowns, identify and repair faults on standard cranes.
  • Identify and contact local support functions and senior co-workers.
  • Broad understanding about local standards and regulations.
  • Manage the accurate and timely paperwork following company paperwork procedures.
  • Willing to travel to the working sites outside of normal geographical area.
  • Promote Konecranes as an employer of choice and maintain high profile company image.
  • Other tasks assigned by the Service Manager.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, major in mechanical or electrical engineering or having the interest or experience in automation;
  • Over 2 years working experience in mechanical equipment site assembling, manufacturing and site installation for commissioning;
  • Experience in cranes industry is preferred;
  • Related experience of project execution;
  • Good English skills both in spoken and written;
  • Work independently and team-oriented;
  • Self-motivated and target oriented.
