The business area of maintenance service offers service solutions and maintenance for all crane brands, for port equipment and machine tools. We are the original service provider for both Konecranes and Demag equipment. We are looking for an experienced Administrator to join our team based at our office in West Bromwich. The purpose of this role is to carry out the administrative tasks relating to the work carried out by our Service Technicians, this would include: purchase order receiving, invoicing, financial report, expense processing and other administrative tasks as required. The workload is demanding but rewarding, so having experience within an administrative environment would be ideal as well as being a self-starter.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, costing and calculating of Invoices.
  • Timesheet processing including quality checks and tracker checks.
  • Payroll, holidays and sickness.
  • Telephone answering.
  • Raising jobs and purchase orders.
  • Resolving customer queries.
  • Manage Work In-progress and Last Labour To Invoice
  • Continually strive to improve planning efficiency by implementing new methods and processes.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in Administration Office and Business Systems
  • Sales invoice queries management and working with the planning teams to minimise the risk of queries.
  • Maintaining filing systems and document registers.

 

What we are looking for in you:

  • A good level of administrative experience
  • Pass grades in English at GCSE or equivalent
  • Good IT skills especially in Microsoft Office
  • The ability to focus on meeting weekly performance targets /deadlines.
  • A team player with the ability to work in a busy service office.
  • Organised, a self-starter and attention to detail.
  • Good customer service skills - verbal and written communication
