The role of a Rental Support Engineer is a planner to control and monitoring in rent operation, to ensure all rental asset equipment can be used properly at customer site. Your role related in the maintenance plan, coordination with technician and to customers who had rent equipment, prepared all need included parts, document and etc. to support rent operation You might be interested to learn that we are the original service provider for both Konecranes and Demag equipment.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Organize the rental team at customer sited and warehouse, communicate and presenting to customer on overall quality of work as per job requirements.
  • Coordinating of daily job planning and scheduling for Rental technician and do evaluation to improve job performance.
  • Have to monitor and coordinate all rental asset equipment unit on providing spare part availability with standard processing include possibilities to source of non-stock spare parts.
  • Have to evaluate of rental PM Report, spare part usage report and  all asset equipment service record as equipment performance evaluation.
  • Perform to organize Rental PM & repair jobs in a timely manner and ensure complete record od document.
  • Ensure that all jobs executed by technicians are correctly reported in Rental reports and submitted timely to the Staff Administration to be captured in SAP system for generation of monthly reports to measure and monitor of technician’s utilization.
  • Conduct periodic check of spare parts stock and maintain of spare parts usage and it’s availability for all asset equipment in customer site and warehouse according to schedule of replacement.
  • Perform to provide of parts emergency process such local resources and/or cannibal process to minimize downtime of equipment.
  • Communicate with customer/client related with PM schedule, repair jobs, bridging/backup unit and any technical & operation issue raised by Customer to get satisfaction feedback in order maintain long relationship.
  • Participate in periodic maintenance and safety training as scheduled to ensure constant update of product knowledge as well as to meet industry's EHS statutory requirements in carrying out related field activities.
  • Any other duties as directed by superior

What we are looking for in you:

  • You must be apprentice-trained or equivalent and fully conversant with engineering disciplines.
  • Have the ability to use Microsoft Office and Product Knowledge.
  • 2 to 3 years of working experience related in lift truck including engine and electrical system.
  • Willingness to work rostered day shift [pattern) 5 days out of 7 (39 hours over 5 days) Scheduled weekend working will attract enhanced premiums.  Working one weekend in every month.
  • Good grasp of the English language (verbal and written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills as there is extensive customer contact
  • Proven commitment to safety
  • Willingness to work extra hours
  • Hold a current driving license

We are looking for experienced Service Technicians/Engineers to join our existing field service team, who are involved in the repair, maintenance and service of our customers’ lifting equipment, service inspection contracts, refurbishment and modernization projects, installation, testing and certification of overhead cranes and hoists.
