JOB SUMMARY:

Manage and control the sales for all C & C and IPD products and equipment sold by the Company in Malaysia, ensure that the department provides best service commitment to customers and also be accountable for the profitability of the sales department.

 

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

  • Prepare and manage the Sales budget as set for the financial year.
  • Ensure that the orders received, sales, expenses and profitability as set up in the budget for the financial year are met.
  • Ensure that the market place is adequately covered by sales people and regular visits are paid to important customers are visited regularly.
  • Ensure that the CRM activities and reports are filled in timely and accurately. Utilize the CRM report and analysis to guide his men and redirect them to areas where they have shortcomings. Approve claims made by the sales people under the commission scheme, and set minimum no of visits for the sales people.
  • Coordinate with the Regional Business Director and the training manager for training of the sales people.
  • Ensure that the branch achieved their respective sales & booking budgets and also assist the area managers in preparation of the year end budget.
  • Formulate strategic goals to fulfill those key tasks handed over to him by his superior.
  • Monitor on an individual basis the performance and productivity of his staff.
  • Appraisal of his staff and also to recruit new staff with the help of the HR department.
  • Review stock of the C & C and IPD Division and set minimum quantity on the amount is kept at the company.
  • Carry out credit assessment on majors new deals concluded in the divisions and to ensure that our policy is followed and credit limit not violated.
  • Prepare the annual Sales budget and plan for capital expenditure for the department.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical preferred) , or Degree in Science or Degree in marketing.
  • At least 12 to 15 years managing a sales department of a manufacturing company with 5 year at supervisory level.
  • Knowledge of sales and selling environment in Malaysia
  • Inter personal relationship, Problem solving skill and Analytical thinking
