Inventory & Warehouse Executive

JOB SUMMARY:

Carry out the duty and assist on overall Inventory and Warehouse activities to meet company compliance with the specifications, guidelines and policies. This includes system postings, receiving, verifying physical goods upon request, assist on safety stock review and planning, stock take involvement and delivery good services to internal and external customers. Carry out the assigned function with good accuracy and timely respond.

JOB SCOPE:

• To be responsible for processing of all goods issuing postings to Production Orders, Network Orders, Service Orders including printing of Delivery Notes, inter-company sales order and billing document.
• Processing of all stock returns, stock transfer, inter-plant stock transfers, branches transfer, stock adjustment, scrap, cannibalisation, with proper documentation and approval before proceeding for postings and follow up on any outstanding matters.
• To comply with proper procedures and documentations whilst performing all the Inventory and Warehouse postings to ensure timely and accuracy.
• Follow up for local and overseas incoming and outgoing goods for end users / clients.
• SAP / Part No. creation and understand materials master / data of the specification and text given prior to issue / create SAP group.
• To manage various order, short length items like cable, wire rope and request warehouse assist on monthly reporting on physical stock and SAP stock for stock / batch adjustment.
• To identify the discrepancies, analysis and report immediately for following up action.
• To update storage bin location in the SAP material master to tally to the physical storage location and monitoring of Special Stock.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly inventory reports or ad-hoc reports.
• To actively participative and prepare the stock take report for mid-year stock take and financial year-end stock take exercise.
• To prepare the safety stock report for mid and end year and actively review and participate.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Logistics, Business, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Marketing or Business-related field.
• Minimum two years’ experience in Inventory / logistics / Supply Chain or Business-related field.
