Are you passionate about continuous improvement in all aspects of our business? We are seeking an energetic and self-driven experienced professional with a hands-on attitude to join our Global Operational Excellence team to lead domain of Systematic Problem-Solving.

Our team's mission is to provide unwavering support to our Businesses as they pursue their unique strategies for success, offering expertise and guidance through our operational excellence toolbox of Quality Excellence, Lean, Problem Solving (LSS), Project Management Excellence, etc.

 

Manager, Business Development, Operational Excellence is a global role, giving you an exciting opportunity to work with colleagues around the world. Global Operational Excellence team is part of Corporate Strategy & Business Development team. Your focus will be to support Business Units and Regions in leveraging systematic problem-solving methods; enhance framework for problem solving in Konecranes; and organize Lean Six Sigma trainings and network. You will also contribute to the development of group-wide Business System, including policies, KPI’s, processes, tools and competencies. In this role you will report to Bogdan Yevdokymov, Director, Quality Excellence and Development. The position is in Europe or possibly in some other key Konecranes locations globally.

 

Your main responsibilities will be to support businesses with following:

  • On demand support to BUs & Regions in leveraging systematic problem-solving methods.
  • Engage network of already trained problem-solving experts, such as LSS YB, GB, BB.
  • Develop further the framework of using Lean Six Sigma as a problem-solving methodology.

 

Your experience

To achieve these goals, you have a master’s degree and several years of relevant experience in Business Unit/Region or support function wide continuous improvement and development – on operational and strategical level. You are a thought leader in the field, and you have solid experience of working in a global matrix organization, with strong influencing and collaboration skills. You know the relevant to operational excellence information e.g. quality management standards/systems and methodologies - such ISO, Lean and Lean Six Sigma. And having proven track record of leading and delivering operational excellence positive change and results. In addition, to succeed in the role you are systematic with attention to detail, while still being able to drive the big picture. Customer centricity, root cause thinking and winning as a team are key competencies in this role. You have persuasive communication skills, are fluent in English, and have the ability to listen to the requirements of the operational organization and other stakeholders.

 

In addition, experience or skills related to following are considered as an advantage:

  • Lean, Lean Six Sigma
  • Advanced Project management
  • Data analytics, Power BI and data visualization management
  • 1 KC process & systems
  • Konecranes Product portfolio
  • Quality management systems and standards (e.g. ISO 9001)
