Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree holder in Mechanical / Production Engineering from reputed university.      

 

Experience

As a Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) and Should Cost Engineer, you will play a critical role in our organization by assessing the cost structures of our products and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization. Leveraging your 3-4 years of experience, you will work closely to support VAVE initiatives and improve the cost-effectiveness of our products. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering, manufacturing processes, and cost analysis.

  • Skill sets needed:
    • Had already worked extensively in costing, Value Analysis (VA) & Value Engineering (VE)
    • Proficiency in cost estimation and modelling.
    • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
    • Familiarity with tools such as Excel, cost estimation software(aPriori), and data analysis tools
    • Ability to work in team.
  • Job Description
    • support VAVE projects and identify cost optimization opportunities.
    • Generate ideas for design and process improvements to reduce product costs.
    • Perform detailed cost analysis of existing products to identify areas for cost reduction.
    • Conduct market research and benchmarking to understand industry standards and competitive pricing.
    • Maintain accurate records of cost analysis, cost-saving initiatives, and project progress.
    • Prepare reports and presentations to convey findings and recommendations.
    • Continuously update models to reflect changes in the cost.
    • Support business with their product cost optimization efforts and product teardowns
    • Proactively identify additional cost savings opportunities and feed savings funnel.
    • Find design related root causes for insufficient suppliers’ production performance.
    • Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards.
