Do you enjoy contact with foreign cultures? Do you like to be a host and just as much like to travel around the world? Would you describe yourself as a communicative technology ace who can effortlessly share your knowledge with technicians and crane operators in the port sector from all over the world and with colleagues in a global service & sales organization? 

Your tasks:

  • Expert, result-oriented and sustainable, you will manage technical product training courses for our worldwide customers, local sales and service partners and in our training center in Düsseldorf. Although your focus will be on Mobile Harbour Cranes, you can also train people on other Port Solutions equipment if you have the necessary technical know-how. 
  • It goes without saying that you will support our customers during your visits and offer technical support on request. 
  • Specifically, you will take over the conception and implementation of training courses, workshops and simulations for the maintenance, troubleshooting and inspection of our products. These also include the creation and adaptation of training documents and documents with InDesign an Photoshop. 
  • Last but not least, you will also further develop our internal certification concept in this context.  

Your background: 

  • Completed training (e.g. as an electrical engineer, mechatronics technician), if possible supplemented by specialist training to become a state-certified technician in mechanical engineering, or a comparable qualification 
  • Experience and in-depth technical knowledge of Mobile Harbour Cranes and gladly other Port Solutions products or the willingness and ambition to acquire the necessary product know-how through self-study and internal trainings 
  • Plus experience with hydraulic systems, drive technology and PLC systems
  • The ability to develop technical content on topics such as mechanical and electrical engineering and programming in an easily understandable and target group-oriented manner and to convey it credibly
  • Intercultural skills, excellent English (additional languages are beneficial) and enjoyment of international business trips (approx. 25%)
  • And personally? We hope that you are a team player, Capable of working at heights with a strong service mindset, who can communicate with customers reliably, and can organize your work, including travel planning, independently.
