Are you a commercial or technical talent looking for an exciting opportunity to support a dynamic external sales team? Konecranes is on the hunt for individuals like you to help us meet customer expectations and achieve our internal growth targets. As a crucial member of our Benelux external sales team, you will play a vital role in providing offer support, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible solutions.

 

Your Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be preparing offers using Konecranes configurators. Collaborating closely with the external sales team, you will contribute to meeting customer needs and play a key role in converting offers into orders. Additionally, you will be responsible for the seamless handover of successful offers to our project delivery team. Utilizing both Konecranes and third-party product configurators, you will effectively manage a diverse range of product offerings, including retrofit products, standard lifting equipment, and consultation services within your designated area. A crucial aspect of your responsibilities involves the meticulous management of the CRM funnel during the estimation stage.

 

You will occasionally conduct site surveys, gathering essential crane data to inform decision-making. Additionally, you will actively develop proficiency in Konecranes processes and tools. By adeptly gathering and utilizing both Konecranes and customer data, you will identify opportunities for other products and services. Furthermore, under supervision of our external sales team, you will negotiate terms and conditions with customers and provide detailed specifications, scope of works, and cost estimates. Regularly reviewing sales leads and their effectiveness, you will also extend crucial support to service sales personnel with work preparation and on-site tasks.

 

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in the crane/lifting industry
  • Technical qualifications
  • Offer support experience
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch, French and (preferably) English C1/C2.
  • Technical capability
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
