Position Title:            National Sales Manager, Industrial Cranes, Light Lifting Equipment


REPORTS TO:           VP of Sales, Industrial Cranes, CTO.





The primary focus of the National Sales Manager position is to provide LLE support to the sales consultants for North America. In addition, the role would include managing the CXT Explorer product line and include direct sales responsibility for the Wind Energy market. The candidate must reside in the United States or Canada.


  • Providing Light Lifting Equipment (LLE) support for all CTO sales consultants in the United States and Canada. Example: Free-Standing Work Station Cranes that are part of a larger CTO Crane order OR requires engineering support.
  • Managing the CXT Explorer product line. Provide support for our military distribution company, Merrill Group. They are working closely with the government to sell the CXT Explorer.
  • Direct sales responsibility for the Wind Energy business segment. Must become involved in the wind energy association groups, which will provide a platform for developing relationships with those suppliers providing on-shore and off-shore wind turbines. These suppliers include companies such as General Electric, Siemens, Vestas, etc…Our proven product within the market segment is the Demag DC Wind Chain Hoist, Slewing Jib and KBK Work Station crane, which is currently provided from Wetter, Germany. Possible branding changes are being considered for those sold to the US and Canada.




  • Prior work experience with industrial equipment related sales or service is preferred. 
  • Should be familiar with basic crane construction and assembly techniques.
  • A basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles would be an asset. 
  • Good verbal, written, and computer skills are required. Must be highly organized and efficient.



  • Bachelor’s degree preferred however, prior equivalent experience and training will be considered in lieu of formal degree.
