Port Services are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Analytics Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for proactively analyzing business data, developing business intelligence solutions, building ETL pipelines, modeling data, creating Power BI reports and helping our business to interpret data to create actionable insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data, identify trends, and develop insights to support business decisions.
This position is hybrid remote and based in Espoo or Hyvinkää, Finland.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to support Business Analytics initiatives.
- Collect and analyze large and complex datasets from various sources to identify patterns and trends.
- Continuously maintain and monitor data quality and integrity to ensure accurate reporting and analysis.
- Design, develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for business users.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Provide recommendations and insights based on data analysis to drive business decisions and improve performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and potential opportunities to enhance business processes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in business intelligence and analytics.
What you should bring:
- Strong expertise in Power BI, SQL and Python.
- Proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and reporting.
- Experience with ETL processes, data orchestration tools, data warehousing technologies, and data modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
