Business Line STS is looking for a Chief Project Engineer to work in the Ship-to-shore crane delivery projects.

 

Business Line STS is responsible for new equipment business in STS cranes for container handling terminals globally. The timely delivery of quality products with high performance and operational availability is in essential role defining the performance of the complete customer facility.


Chief Project Engineer is responsible for managing the STS crane electrical design process in the complex and demanding delivery projects. Chief Project Engineer runs the engineering meetings, manages subcontractors, makes technical decisions, manages design budget and schedule.


Main responsibilities of the Chief Project Engineer are:
• Manage the delivery project design and engineering resources
• Manage the design schedule
• Coordinate the delivery project with other stakeholders in the project team (production coordination, procurement, supply, commissioning etc.) according to the project requirements.
• Support sales in STS crane sales cases
• Participate to product management and design development of STS cranes

What we expect from you?

 

You are expected to have education from the area of electrical engineering. You have previous experience from electrical engineering and experience from leading design projects is considered as a benefit. General knowledge of standards and industrial machinery and control systems is valuable. In your role you will also need good, communication, leadership and problem solving skills.

 

We expect you to be target orientated with positive attitude and willingness to travel. You are fluent in English. Other languages are considered as an asset.
