Are you passionate about compliance & ethics? We are seeking an energetic and experienced professional with a hands-on attitude to join our Global Compliance & Ethics team as the program lead for People compliance.  

 

The team and the organization you will join

In this role, you will be working in a team with diverse competences and cultural backgrounds. The Group Compliance & Ethics team supports all businesses and group functions globally. You will report to Head of Compliance & Ethics and to ensure seamless cooperation with People & Culture function you will attend People & Culture management team meetings. This role is ideally based in Finland, but other major Konecranes locations in Europe can be considered. 

 

Since this is a new role, we are looking for a professional, who has a genuine interest in and drive to create and continously develop the People compliance program. In this position, You will be responsible for identifying risks and opportunities and turning development ideas to actionable plans and for monitoring implementation through Konecranes.  

 

Your key responsibilities 

  • Acting as the lead for People compliance program implementation 

  • Identifying compliance risks and opportunities in People processes and ensuring that adequate policies and processes are in place to manage risks and that risks are properly considered when designing and implementing People systems  

  • Ensuring that processes to keep up with local legal requirements are in place and maintaining country handbook detailing local employee representation and employee protection rules  

  • Monitor that compliance policies and Global Travel Policy are implemented locally according to local legal requirements  

  • Managing and developing Compliance & Ethics Awareness program, including Code of Conduct trainings 

  • Conducting internal investigations  

 

What should you bring 

To succeed in this role, you are able engage and collaborate with colleagues from all levels of the organization. As this role is new, co-operating with stakeholders, good collaboration and communication skills as well as outstanding project management are vital for the success.

 

We also expect that you have: 

  • Very good understanding of European employment / labor law requirements 

  • BSc or Msc from relevant study background i.e. business, technology or legal, experience in HR or Legal is considered a huge plus 

  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple assignments and prioritize work assignments as needed to meet deadlines 

  • Ability to work independently, attention to details, strong analytical power and good problem-solving skills 

  • Excellent project management skills 

  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English. Other language skills an asset 

  • Ability and willingness to travel 

  • Well developed skills in MS Office 365
